Steven Sokoloff

Steven M. Sokoloff graduated with honors from the University of California at Berkeley in 1992, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with an emphasis in African American History. In 1996, he received his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School and was admitted to the California State Bar. He received American Jurisprudence Awards in both Trial Advocacy and Property. Additionally, he was a member of the International Law Journal and participated in preliminary hearings and trials as a law clerk at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office.

Currently, Mr. Sokoloff is a full-time litigator who takes responsibility for all aspects of civil litigation: the initial client interview; filing and answering complaints; propounding and responding to discovery; taking and defending depositions; legal research; drafting, opposing, and arguing motions; negotiating and settling cases; first-chairing trials; enforcing judgments; and drafting appeals.
